Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect before my treatment?

Before having a medical procedure, you will have a consultation with registered nurse Mimi Bao. During the consultation, she will assess your skin, review your medical history, and discuss your goals and expectations to determine which treatment is right for you. She will also take photos to document the treatment area for reference. She will explain the procedure to you, including expected results, possible risks and benefits, side effects, and post-treatment instructions.

What do I need to avoid prior to injectables?

We will give you specific instructions to follow before your appointment. Before your treatment, you should avoid medications that can increase your bruise potential, such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen (brands are Motrin/Advil), Alleve, Excedrin, fish oil, alcohol, and Vitamin E. You can pre-treat and lessen the risk of bruising with Arnica and Bromelain.

When do you choose a neurotoxin and when do you choose a dermal filler?

Neurotoxins are used to relax a muscle and diminish movement, resulting in a softer, smoother motion and appearance. Dermal fillers act differently. They do not interfere with muscle movement. Rather, they create volume in an area of depletion or in an area where you would like enhancement. They "fill up" space with a smooth, natural look, giving a contoured appearance.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Although we are a medical clinic, services are considered an elective service and are not covered by insurance.

What payment do you accept?

Cash and Credit Card.

A Reputation Built On Results

"I came in for Botox and they recommended to get 45 units, I usually get 60 but I took their recommendation and it worked even better than when I would get 60! I guess who does the injections really does matter. They are very professional and very trustworthy. Overall a great experience, I will be back."

"Frown lines had been a problem that bothered me for a long time. After Mimi helped me fix them, the improvement was significant and the results were very natural and without any trace! I recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable cosmetic clinic. She doesn't push sales; she only gives you sincere advice. Her service is also very considerate, and she's a very nice person."
